Kidmobiles and Gas Prices

Way back when, I posted up about my search for a Ford Excursion to be the new kidmobile. Well, since that time gas prices continued to climb, breaking the $3 mark. My wallet just could not envision forking over $130 to fill up that beast.

So I laid off the search for a while. But recently, after talking to my auto broker friends, I started the search again. But this time I went back to the one thing I have always wanted and liked…a Ford Expedition.

I picked this up this morning :) :

Fully loaded 2000 Eddie Bauer Expedition! It has EVERY option offered for that year and its a late 2000 model so has all the engine and tranny upgrades.

I should be pretty happy with it and the kids should have plenty of room. Going to go ultra mom-like and install the DVD system for them so they can be entertained while we crusie around.

And it will get me to and from work in the snow, even without the plow hitting my subdivision :)

Can You Say OUCH!!!!!

This past month has been the SUCK!!! Let me just trace my steps here for ya…

1) Wake up in the middle of the night with a mouth full of broken tooth. What the hell? I grind my teeth at night and guess it just became too much.

2) Lay back down, realize my mouth is now full of blood since I just ran my toungue along the jagged broken tooth. FAWK!!!!

3) Realize that my fear of the dentist is much stronger than I thought as I stand in line at Walgreens buying dental wax to cover the jagged edge instead of calling dentist.

4) Mother finally says go to her dentist…makes appointment.

5) Through sweat and tears I drive myself to the dentist. He is a cool guy, simply does a temp filling and sends me on my way. Tells me to come back on Monday.
