All About Me
Background
I hold a B.A in Journalism and have over 14 years experience in the journalism field in both print and online areas. My background outside of journalism has helped me become well versed in many programming languages, including Coldfusion and PHP, and numerous software applications related to web development and design. I have worked with MS SQL, MySql and Oracle for database driven applications.
While all of my positions have had very clear titles, I have worn many hats at them all. From project manager to client liason to designer, I have had my hands in it all. I have successfully managed my own projects from small client sites to large scale applications for the Department of Defense/Health Affairs. I understand what is necessary to get projects started on the right track, keep them on the right track and to deliver projects to clients on deadline, on (or under) budget and that meet the clients highest expectations.
In addition to my development and journalist endeavours I also dabble in freelance photograpy. I spend much of my free time photographing children, families and sporting events around my community. I started a community program to help low-income families get senior portraits for their children and also offer occasional free session and prints to families through a local non-profit agency.

"During the time I worked with Tiffany, she proved herself to be hardworking and committed to success. She was a valuable teammate, the kind who consistently goes above and beyond their job description, always focusing on what needs to be accomplished. In my experience, Tiffany was always willing to dive in and learn something new if the task at hand called for it. At the same time, she juggled a number of competing responsibilities and consistently produced good results. From "brainstorming" new ideas and better ways of fulfilling contracts to the nitty-gritty work of coding new programs, I found her to be diligent, concientious, and focused. Tiffany managed our relationships with outside IT vendors (internet, network, and telephone access) while she handled the routine maintenance and upkeep on these services herself. In these contacts and in all her contacts with our client base, Tiffany was very professional. Clients always felt comfortable contacting her with "technical" questions and Tiffany excelled at explaining complicated software issues to them in non-technical language."

"Tiffany is a technically knowledgeable employee who also has the rare skill set of editorial judgment from her experience as a journalist. She was an invaluable staffer at DenverPost.com not just for her production skills, but for her depth of knowledge about the Internet and her development skills. Plus, her sense of humor and team spirit made her an even more valuable asset to the department."
Gil Asakawa, Executive Producer, The Denver Post, DenverPost.com
"Tiffany is driven and dedicated. She has a great sense of how to create relevant content and she has an incredible work ethic. I worked with Tiffany before she moved heavily into programming, but it's clear she's brought her content sensibilities to her code. We need more coders like Tiffany ..."
