In The Swing…

Ξ May 28th, 2006 | → 0 Comments | ∇ All In Good Fun, Diary of a Mad Woman |

Time off from work (hey, another 101 down…sweet!)

Was Checking out Trent’s site and found this little meme…had to jump on the bandwagon:

THE RULES: List up to ten (10) things you want to say to ten (10) different people. Do not state who these people are. Do not confirm or deny any “comment speculation.”

01. I don’t know if I will ever be ready for marriage, but I am willing to try with you.
02. As much as I would like to tell you where to stick it, I will not lower myself to your level just to make a point.
03. STOP CALLING ME!
04. I wish you would have told me how you felt way back then…
05. You talk way too much and its always about you. Do you even realize there are others around you?
06. It doesn’t matter how you treat me or talk to me, I will always love you.
07. I would have gone out with you if you had simply asked me.
08. You have no goals, no morals and no self worth…why do you think I won’t hang out with you?
09. We joke about a lot of things, but I don’t really find your racist jokes funny.
10. I see you here everyday and never said a word to you, today I thought I would just say “hi”.

Has to be my 21st birthday blowout. It was a pretty great party that lasted well into the wee hours.

5) What is the best birthday present you have ever received?
Wow, that is hard….I would have to say anything my kids ever got me was the best present I ever received.

I’ll Take FREE IPODS for $1000 Alex

Ξ January 3rd, 2005 | → 2 Comments | ∇ All In Good Fun |

iPod for T-SquareOK, so I can finally say this is not a scam. I now personally know 3 people who have received their iPods from www.freeipods.com. Not someone’s friends sisters cousin, but three people I know and talk to on a almost daily basis.

So of course this means I must jump on the bandwagon late in the game and try to score one for myself.

So if you want to help me out and start down the path to getting your own FREE IPOD then click my refereal link:
http://www.freeiPods.com/?r=11960937

Otherwise I may have to break down and buy myself one as a birthday present…but where is the fun in that?

Sunday Brunch - Revived and Still Alive

Ξ December 5th, 2004 | → 2 Comments | ∇ All In Good Fun |

Been a while since I played the Sunday Brunch game…

  1. Which stone is your birthstone? Do you like it?
  2.  Amethyst is my birthstone. Pretty purple stone. I like it a lot…used to have an amethyst ring, not sure whatever happened to that though

  3. Do you prefer silver or gold?
  4.  I am a silver type person. Gold always seems so flashy.

  5. Name the jewelry that you wear whenever you leave the house.
  6.  The hawaiian necklace that Bill and Margaret brought me back from their honeymoon and two tired silver hoop earrings. The earrings will soon be replaced with something else, just haven’t found the right “something else” yet.

  7. What is your most precious and valuable item of jewelry.
  8.  Not a big jewlery person so I don’t really have any

  9. Do you carry insurance on any of your jewelry and if not, why not?
  10.  See above answer.

Sunday Brunch - Weddings

Ξ August 30th, 2004 | → 0 Comments | ∇ All In Good Fun |

1. Indoor or outdoor weddings?
I’m gonna say outdoor on this one….kind of have my eye on this little botanical park that would make a beautiful backdrop for a wedding ceremony

2. How many wedding have you been in?
Kind of two: Was the guestbook whatchamacallit for my dads wedding and was a “groomswoman” in my best friend Bill’s wedding…yes groomswoman…this is the kind of crap that happens when women have men as best friends. This wedding also had a “bridesman” (what happens when a woman has a guy as a best friend)…Sheesh!!!!

3. When you were married (or if there is a wedding in your future), what type of wedding did or would you have?
Thinking I want something small and simple…marriage should be about the committment to your other half not about the great spread ya put out for 9000 guest

4. Have you caught the bouquet or garter?
Nope, but I never tried either

5. Tell us about a funny, scary or memorable wedding moment.
Has to be the entire trip leading up to Bill and Margaret’s ceremony. We were running late so I told Tony to follow me…we had to go from our house in Centennial to Palmer Lake…a good 45-60 minute drive when you don’t hit any traffic. Well by the time I looked at a clock I had about 30 minutes to be dressed and standing around for pics and what not…so I took off, doing about 95 down I-25 with Tony following behind trying to keep up. I hit the parking lot to the lodge in 22 minutes, jumped out of the jeep (still running) yelled for someone to turn it off and grab my keys and took off running. Well behind me I hear Shelby yelling “You are dropping the dress”. Look back, see bottom half of dress laying in parking lot, Shelby scooping it up and yelling to keep running.

So I keep running, get in the lodge and see Becky standing there cracking up….cause she FORGOT her dress at the hotel. So after all that I had about 30 minutes more time…
