To start out the year, thought I would change things up a little bit around here…shake off the cobwebs and do a little rearranging and design changin’. Whatcha think?
Gonna start checking back in on my blogsphere buddies and try to get caught up and back at it here with the at least occasional post. I know, I now…I have said it before, but it’s a new year and it’s time to do what I do best.
New camera, new photoblog, new “issues” to chronicle.
I have decided to try to chronicle my latest illness/affliction in pictures…maybe a bit easier for me to handle that way.

The MX Chronicles have been added to the insanity.
For those of you who might not know, MX means motocross…motorcycle dirt bike riding and racing. Jeremy McGrath, Ricky Carmichael, James “Bubba” Stewart…
Yes, I have lost my mind, but for a really long time I have wanted to ride a motorcycle. Not as much on the street really, but in the dirt, on a track…dirt riding.
I started looking at things and realized that I wanted to stop thinking about it and go do it. So right now I am in the search for a bike to purchase.
My MX friend FireCracker has helped me figure out the best bike for me: A Kawasaki KDX200
So I am on the hunt for a decent used one.
I am signing up to take a Motorcycle Safety course, which will lead to me getting my motorcyle endorsement on my drivers license (meaning I can legally ride a motorcycle on the street and trail).
I will use the MX Chronicles as my spot to, well, chronicle my journey and see just how far I can get to being the real MX rider I want to be.

Check out the new MoBlog section. Instead of showing that one stale photo it now cycles through 12 photos and refreshes them periodically to go through all the pics in my MoBlog.

Well I finally got a few free minutes to upgrade the WordPress software to the latest version…and it is pretty dang slick!
As you can see I have also changed the look…again. I like this very much, rather subtle and a little softer.
Kind of like the new and improved T-Square

I may have just got the silly webcam back working with Windows 2003 Server. Yay Me!
If so I will be setting it up to look out of one of the bedroom windows or something…at least ya can check out the Colorado weather and what the neighbors are doing
I posted up my thoughts on my first week back in journalism and called the category “It’s Just News…Right?”
Well in hindsight apparently I am a genius
My plans are to post up once a week about my week at work, focusing on the news highlights (lowlights??) of the week and how they affected me and maybe how they should have affected you. Hence, “It’s Just News…Right?” is a logical choice to collect all this wonderful stuff under.
Seems fitting, will help me keep my sanity and maybe give you folks some insight into the way my mind works when it comes to news.

Trying to clean things up just a bit. The other site style was cool, but was getting to be a little hard on the eyes on the longer posts.
This is just a simple, clean design until I can get the time to actually get creative.
